We love being innkeepers on Cape Cod! Our beautiful peninsula is filled with breathtaking spots that speaks to our souls! Most times when we venture away from the inn, Byron has his camera along. He has captured some of the most brilliant shots that we have shared on our social media over the past 16 years of inn keeping on Cape Cod. I thought it would be fun for this blog to share our favorites.
The most scenic spots on Cape Cod

#1- Fall Cranberries on Cape Cod
The shot above was the cranberry bog on 124 just across from the Tech School. There are many scenic areas close to the inn to see the cranberries being harvested. Our facebook page always has information on when the cranberries are being harvested each year.
#2- Cahoon Hollow Beach in Wellfleet
Byron took this shot when we were going to the Beachcomber for lunch with our daughter last June. The weather had just started to warm and these were a few of the first sun bathers of the season.

#3- Highland Light in Truro
The oldest lighthouse on the Cape and worthy of a visit.
#4- Crosby Landing in Brewster
I still can’t believe Byron caught this shot at low tide- just a horse and sanded boat on Cape Cod. Harrison was quite perplexed:)

#5- Wedding shot on Saint Manding Beach in Brewster
All weddings are special but this one was extra special. Our daughter Jenn and son-in-law Darin got married on the beach with a celebration later at the inn. So much fun!

#6 -Wood End Lighthouse in P’Town
All of our lighthouses are unique and special on Cape Cod

#7- Heritage Gardens in Sandwich
This museum is the perfect place to spend an afternoon- beautiful gardens, a car museum and a carousel to ride too.

#8- Monomoy National Wildlife Refuge in Chatham
Just love this refuge center in Chatham. Beautiful trails and beaches.

#9- Paines Creek Beach at sunset
All of our Brewster beaches have fantastic views at sunset. This one at Paine’s Creek was extra special.

#10- Marconi Beach in Eastham
One can walk for miles and miles!

#11- P’Town Harbor
Magical light cascading on P’Town harbor.

#12- Sesuit Harbor on a Harvest Moon evening
Always love Sesuit Harbor but this evening the Harvest Moon gave quite a show.

#13- Chatham Fish Pier
Always love watching the seagulls and seals at the fish market in Chatham

#13- Row Boats in Chatham
Something so magical about boats tied waiting to be used.

#14- Brewster Grist Mill
Perfect shot of a very special wedding couple

#15- Spring Bluebirds in Brewster
Just love our bluebirds which nest with us in the spring and fall

#16- Sailboat in Brewster
Byron took this shot many years ago and it is still one of my favorites.
