Check-In:

Check-in time is between 3:00 and 7:00 p.m. Please let us know if you will be arriving after 7:00 p.m. as we have an easy late check-in procedure. We also welcome guests arriving any time after 12:00 p.m.; if your room is ready, we can accommodate an early check-in.

Check-Out:

Check-out is by 11:00 a.m. We thank you for staying with us.

Payment Terms:

DEPOSIT: Payment for 50% of the total room rate is charged at the time of booking.

FINAL PAYMENT: Final payment will be charged 14 days before arrival for the remaining balance inclusive of all taxes, packages, and add-ons. Payment will be charged to the same credit card as the deposit unless otherwise notified of an alternate credit card or redemption of a gift certificate. For reservations made less than 14 days before arrival, full payment is due at the time of booking. 

Cancelation Policy:

The Captain Freeman Inn is a small business and cancelations with short notice significantly affect us. We understand that the unexpected happens and we encourage you to consider purchasing trip insurance.

CANCELATIONS MORE THAN 14 DAYS BEFORE ARRIVAL DATE: Cancelations made 14 or more days before the arrival date will receive a full refund of the deposit.

CANCELATIONS LESS THAN 14 DAYS BEFORE ARRIVAL DATE: For cancelations made with less than 14 days notice, reasonable efforts will be made to secure another reservation in its place. If the full reservation is rebooked, a refund minus a $100 cancelation fee will be provided. If the full reservation is not rebooked, all payments will be retained as compensation.

For reservations shortened (late arrival or early departure) within 14 days of the scheduled arrival, no refund will be provided for the eliminated portion of the reservation.

Cancelation of scheduled Spa Services requires a minimum notice of 48 hours to receive a refund.

Refunds for select add-ons and packages may be provided.

Children:

Only children age 14 and over are welcome at the inn.

Groups:

Due to the size, layout, and historical nature of the property, we do not allow groups. We are not equipped or staffed to deliver our best experience to groups while also delivering the expected experience to guests outside of a group.

We do not offer property buy-outs or room blocks.

Only registered guests of the inn are allowed on property. Visits by unregistered individuals (e.g. friends, family, wedding party, photographers, hair/make-up artists, etc.) require advanced approval by the innkeepers. Violation of this term could incur additional fees.

Pets:

Pets are not allowed.

Pool:

The pool is for registered guests only. No exceptions.

Damage:

Any damage to hotel property, whether accidental or willful, is the responsibility of the registered guest. Any cost associated with repairs and/or replacement will be charged to the credit card of the registered guest.

Smoking:

Smoking is only permitted outside in our smoking area. We ask that our smoking guests be aware of the wind direction so that smoke does not enter the inn, porches or swimming pool areas.
