I have some previous experience with skydiving as Byron took a “Make A Wish” sky dive when we were first dating many years ago. It was a really fun day watching all of the training that took place, as Byron was determined to do a solo jump. I was so relieved to hug him after the fact and thankfully he had a graceful, easy landing.
After doing some research, I was thrilled to find a local company, SkyDive Barnstable that specializes in tandem jumping. The jumps are from 9am to 5 pm, on the hour, with many of the August weekend time slots sold out. Prices range from $269-$199 and includes a tandem jump over Cape Cod, with views of New England, Boston, Providence and beautiful beaches. To make your jump easy and safe they have divided the jump process down to 3 simple steps: welcome and prep, safety checks and training, gear up and go!
