For those of you that know Byron and I, you know that we love sharing good wine and food with our family and friends. We also love dining out and scoping out good restaurants for our guests whenever possible. We are so fortunate to have so many quality dining close by including Spinnakers which is just a few steps from the inn. This year we decided we wanted to share our love of good wine and dining with our guests with our new Quiet Season Dinner Package.

Our Dinner Package has been very popular over the years as it is a tremendous value. We actually started a version of this when we first opened Brewster by the Sea 17 years ago. Back then almost all of our guests went to Bucas– which is a fabulous Northern Italian Restaurant in Harwich. We still love Bucas and have included them in our Dinner Package choices. The drive to Bucas is about 20 minutes from the inn but we always felt like it was well worth the drive as the food is so delicious and the Italian atmosphere very romantic.

And because we like to change things up a bit we have added a new twist to our dinner package this year-

This year’s package includes a savory welcoming tray of a fresh baked baguette, warm Brie en croute, cheddar cheese and a bottle of our favorite Italian wine ( let us know your favorite type of wine) We are thinking that many guests will use this tray as dinner the first night or if you are still hungry we can make your dinner package reservations for your first or second night. We also have many wonderful pubs if you want something casual on your first night.

If you are looking for a little night life, Cape Cod has many wonderful live entertainment venues that you may want to check out here. One of our favorites is the Harvest Wine Gallery or Improper Boston which has a little more lively music.

The details of our Dinner Package is highlighted below:

2 night Dinner package- $499 plus tax with your choice of best available room at time of booking. (excludes bookings on Thanksgiving and New Year’s Holidays)

Our romantic two night package includes breakfast each morning, afternoon tea,  a delightful welcoming cheese tray that includes fresh baked French Bread, baked Brie, Cheddar and a bottle of our favorite Italian wine and dinner for two for one night at one of our favorite restaurants close by (we provide you with a $100 gift certificate for dinner). The following restaurants are included in our package:

Spinnakers- https://www.spincape.com/menu  A new restaurant just a few steps from the inn that is American with an Italian infusion. Great people- delicious food- relaxed atmosphere. (reservations suggested)

Vers-http://www.verscapecod.com/restaurant/ Dutch owner, great attention to detail with the freshest of fresh food available. Located in Orleans- about a 10 minute drive from the inn. (reservations suggested)

Buca’s Tuscan Roadhouse- http://www.bucasroadhouse.com/ Our favorite restaurant for a special occasion- very romantic and delicious food. Located in Harwichport- about a 20 minute drive form the inn (reservations suggested)

Mahoneys- http://mahoneysatlantic.com/menus/dinner/ Upscale pub with a great, broad menu that is always popular. We love their tuna sashimi and salads.  Located in Orleans- about a 10 minute drive from the inn. (no reservations)

Brewster Fish House- http://www.brewsterfishhouse.com Upscale local fish house which is in walkable distance from the inn. Great local seafood creatively prepared! We have flashlights to make the easy walk even more romantic. (no reservations)

Rock Harbor Grill- http://rockharborgrill.net/ Great local restaurant that specializes in pizza and tapes. We love their homemade pretzels. They also have a fun fire pit in the back where you can grab a drink form the bar and relax by the fire until your table is ready (no reservations)

After dinner, come back to the inn and enjoy a glass of port or sherry or Donna’s favorite-  Hot Chocolate.  Package includes best available room- so book early to get our deluxe rooms.

Our Quiet Season Dinner Package begins on October 20th  and runs through the winter and spring until May 3rd. You may want to consider adding this package onto a weekend trip for the Wellfleet Oyster Festival which is on October 18th & 19th.
