There is something very special about old fashion small town festivals. In Brewster, we have our annual Brewster in Bloom and Brewster for the Holidays with Cape Cod having many unique festivals all year round.
The annual Wellfleet Festival has become very popular…..infact so popular that last year the committee decided that they need to think of ways to reduce the attendance as parking and town size became an issue when 1,000’s of people flocked to see and taste the many oysters that are shucked and eaten over this great weekend.
Both of our inns, Brewster by the Sea and Captain Freeman are almost full for this great weekend.

The annual Wellfleet OysterFest will take place the weekend after Columbus Day, Saturday and Sunday, October 18 & 19, 2014, in Wellfleet, Cape Cod, Massachusetts. This two-day family festival celebrates the town’s famous oysters, clams and shellfishing traditions bringing together locals and visitors alike for a weekend full of hometown flavor and big time fun! There is something for everyone: local cuisine, arts and crafts, educational programs, cooking demonstrations, children’s activities, walking tours, live music, a road race, and the annual Oyster Shuck-Off competition.
