Brewster Cape Cod Breakfast
Breakfasts are a special time at the inn, served from 8 to 10 AM. In the summer months we serve outside on our beuatiful screened in porch that overlooks the pool and gardens. During the colder months we have a lovely winter dining room where you can enjoy a fire while reading the morning paper and lingering over a three course homemade breakfast that we serve to you.
It is our goal to provide the freshest, in season ingredients. Spring brings sweet strawberries, blueberries and delicious melons. The summer is filled with fresh pineapple and mouthwatering peaches and everyone always looks forward to local cranberries and apples in the fall.
We believe in a breakfast that is hearty, but healthy, traditional, but not boring, unique but not over the top sweet.
We support the "Slow Food and Farm to Table" Philosophy on Cape Cod.
We have a bountiful vegetable and herb garden which provides lush mint throughout the season, tomatoes, zuchinni, and many herbs.
We also have a raspberry patch which produces enough raspberries to supply
the inn with our raspberry jam throughout the year and usually enough left over for raspberry pies,
sauces and tarts. We also support many local farms on Cape Cod with dreams of having our own hen house sometime in the future.
Juices, including fresh squeezed Orange Juice, Cranberry Raspberry or V8.
A fresh fruit course using the best of seasonal and organic fruits,
and a main course that rotates between a savory and a sweet breakfast.
Guest favorites include pecan waffles with fresh strawberries and bananas, Zuchinni and Sundried Tomato Fritatta, Berry French Toast with Parisain Bread, Apricot Scones, Croissant Saturday which includes a flaky croissant served with eggs any way you like and all the ingredients to make a yummy gourmet sandwich...just to name a few. The main course also includes delicous fresh Hickory Smoked Bacon or Vermont Maple Sausage.
Also included in your room rate is an afternoon tea that includes a fresh baked delight from the inn's kitchen. We use Harney and Son's Teas and serve Fresh Squeezed Lavender Lemonade in the summer and local mulled cider in the colder months.
